Walked over from the Love's truck stop to get something to eat. Food was excellent. I had the California omelet with grits and blueberry pancakes with a cup coffee and an ice unsweet tea. Service was above and beyond. I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and recommend stopping by. If you're looking for good home cooking this is the place to be. Menu has many options

Stopped by for breakfast. Let me tell you, the food was good and the portions are massive. Our server (Artis) was awesome and suggested a few dishes. The wife went with the mexican omlette and pancakes. I had the salmon patties, cheese grits, and blueberry pancakes. The place was clean. It's just dated. They have a large selection to please anyone. Stop by when going through Chicago, and you need something to eat.

My church club made for older adults go out for breakfast. We had a wonderful time here. I brought along my friend who was blind. She loves the food she loved the atmosphere. And I love my skillet. Also my pastor paid for our meal so I don't know what the price was.

Nice place, convenient for truck drivers from the Love's. Very clean. I had the gourmet burger, and it was delicious! Grilled onion, mushroom and peppers, great combination. They even gave me tomato and lettuce, which I felt was not needed for that burger. The service is amazing! Mari, my server was on the ball keeping my drink full and making sure I had all I need. I would happily return again. Would live to see them expand their hours, but overall good place to eat.

Really nice place and great food. A little more expensive than other options but worth it. Much better than fast food. Had a amazing meal for 26. Retro feel to the place. Just great all around

It was about 8:00 in the morning. Not too many people were there, so the atmosphere was pretty quiet. We hadn't been there in a really long time and suddenly remembered how good the food really was and decided we will be coming back way more often!

I travel all the way from Indianapolis, Indiana to eat at this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and our waitress Mari has outstanding customer service skills. She made sure that our order was correct and we had everything that we needed, every condiment and extra napkins in a timely manner. We had a great conversation and shared some good memories with Taki about the restaurant and how long the restaurant has been there before we left. He has great conversation and respect for every customer. It’s always a pleasure to come here and feel like family.

I would recommend going back to anyone. Their food was great. The staff was great.Me and my family members had a wonderful time! Apparently they are also well known, and I see why!
